Can I have storage container on my property?

🚚 Use of Vehicles, Trailers, or Shipping Containers for Storage 

Storage of vehicles, truck trailers, shipping containers, or similar structures on a parcel depends on zoning designation.

❌ Prohibited in most districts unless:

• The parcel is under bona fide agricultural use in an AG Zoning District

• Open storage is a permitted use in a Commercial, Industrial, or Mixed-Use Zoning District

• Approved on a temporary basis in accordance with Sections 34-3044 and 34-3050

📏 Additional Restrictions: Even where permitted, these structures:

• May not be stacked

• Must comply with Chapter 34, Division 36, including Section 34-3005
