⚖️ Appealing Code Violation Decisions

  • Hearing Imposed Violations: Yes, you may appeal a code violation decisions.
    • You can attend the hearing and speak directly to the Hearing Examiner, or
    • Wait to receive the official Order Finding Violation, which will include instructions on how to file an appeal
  • Special Assessment Violations: Yes, you may also appeal these violations.
    • Appeal instructions will be included with the Notice of Violation
    • You may request a hearing before the Hearing Examiner to review your case

⚠️ Please note: For Special Assessment violations, the decision of the Lee County Hearing Examiner is final.
